A little bad weather isn’t likely to get Pudding down. Not when she looks this good in her stylish hooded raincoat.

Whether he’s making his way through a mob of East Village grade schoolers or making the grade in class, Mr. Pickles is right at home in his bespoke navy pea coat.

Though tired of the combination of denim and tailored clothing, I adore Whisker’s RRL buckle-backs, immensely closer to the fabric’s roots in work-wear. I felt it only more irreverent to play up the contrasts by substituting the traditional charcoal flannels from this Oxford University look with the raw, red-cast indigo.
I like Whisker’s black watch duffle because the pattern is bold and beautiful without being obnoxious. Pairing it with holiday-friendly burgundies and reds makes for a season appropriate ensemble, though I wouldn’t advise wearing velvet slippers for a walk longer than one across campus.

Mittens has been working with me for a few months. It’s been fun to watch her preparing for her first real Winter. Well, trying to prepare. Everyday during this past week seems to deepen her shock at just how cold it gets in Manhattan.
It has been equally fun to watch her layer and layer the few appropriate clothes she did bring with her in a beautiful attempt at freeze relief.
